Annie may sing about 'tomorrow' and it is lovely to look forward to things but even better to enjoy now. Oasis told us not to 'look back in anger' so again, be content with now. This is it. This moment you are breathing here, now. This is what counts. 

I love this question. The times I have rushed from moment to moment. I am glad I did but I have slowed down and I am appreciating everything that bit more.

Make the memories but also enjoy each moment, at the time, before they become memories. 

I love this quote so much. Live for now. 

Yes, plan and dream and yes, be nostalgic for the past and the people you remember with love. The special one off times you can never re-create, no matter how hard you try. The past and future are important and help shape us, guide us to who will be. But remember who and where we are now. I have spent ages aching for a time long gone, the 80s and 90s, and for a version of me long gone. I need to focus more on the me now! I love this quote!

Think of the nows all adding up to something. To your life. How do you want it to look, when you view it in 10, 20 years time? What nows are you enjoying? 

I love the idea of living more deliberately. At times, I have coasted through life, sometimes overwhelmed by things and just going along. We all do it. The feeling of taking more notice again and rekindling hobbies, doing more that relaxes you and makes you happy sounds fab to me.

It is very easy to do the same stuff and get stuck doing old things. Every now and then, try something new, meet someone new, go somewhere different and see how good the change of scenery, conversation, and view can make you feel. A new hobby can lift you so much. Finding sonething you are good at is so positive and really good for your confidence.

I am doing more of this and will continue to do so. The mindfulness walks and reading more books have relaxed me more in this busy paced world. I am enjoying my dog walks and I do 'stop and smell the roses'.

I wrote a blog about Winnie the Pooh and the Tao of Pooh. This wonderful bear just is. Hecseens to ge effortlessly himself. In this busy world we do feel pressure to be something we are not or try to change to fit in. Remember Pooh who is good at being himself and is comfortable amongst his folk.

It is easier said than done, at times, to be our true selves. We may think we need to act a certain way or overanalyse situations. I love this quote about how we think and how we view ourselves. When we are happier with how we are, we have more of a chance of just being us.

I love this. Definitely slow down and concentrate more on the 'to be'.

This looks like another good book. You can take so much more of life in when you slow down and stop rushing about. 

All those beautiful roses are waiting to be smelled. All those gorgeous views are waiting to be appreciated. Take notice!

This is such a good point. 

Some good advice here. Tomorrow may be a very upbeat song in the world of Annie, but it isn't always a positive feeling, looking to the future, or you may have something you are not really lookong forward to. As much as you can, stay in today. The next day will come, but face it when it does. 

Today is a very important day. Each time we wake to a new day, it can feel like a mini fresh start. 

Time does go by fast. The nows don't last that long. They can sometimes feel like fleeting moments. We blink and the special occasions have been enjoyed and gone, leaving us with warm memories.

It is hard to grasp the moment, at times. We can be weighed down with past events and nostalgic for times gone by. We can be worried and fearful of the future. We sometimes need reminding of what is right in front of our faces- the life we are living now. We can get caught up in wanting more or feeling we are not good enough. Every little step matters in where we are going. Things do not happen over night so enjoy getting there.

Our journeys are exciting, fearful, memorable and are better when shared with people. 

I love this idea too. Each journey we take has little joys within. Embrace them!

Another song title! I've started the sentence. How are you going to end it? We get a new page each day with more chances. How are we going to fill those 24 hours?

We might not enjoy every bit of the day but we always find joy in it. This is a lovely quote and a reminder to be thankful each day.

We do live in a busy world where we are rushing from one moment to the other. We can be in the most beautiful of surroundings and still be thinking about our next appointment or work problem.  This is such a good pinterest quote. 

When I first started mindfulness, I didn't even realise it was called this! I had left teaching and started going on walks again. This time, I saw the leaves on the trees and the flowers in full bloom. It was like that advert, 'I can see clearly now'. My mind was freer to actually enjoy my walk right then, rather than full of loads of stuff. I still get stressed now and still have a busy mind but I am better at focusing on what is happening as it happens.

As much as we can, we can try to be in that moment. Little moments are good for this. Like making and drinking a cup of tea or having a conversation with a loved one. More focus on that little thing can help us relax and rejuvenate.
